While Banko and I disagree on the possiblity of some having such a gift, I believe that IF Sylvia ever had it, she abused it, and thusly lost it.

I find her arrogant, self centered, and in some case down right dangerous in her 'medical advice'

I do hope she is properly rewarded for her actions.

Well hell yeah. There is science-based medicine. And then there is nonsense.

As for psychics, I'll believe in 'em when I see scientific evidence.




Ahhh... I have seen the skeptics refer to 'evidence' as coinencidence...

Some will not believe unless a 'ghost' flys up their ass..and then they will call it 'reverse gas'

Although I do agree Ms. Brown is fake, arrogent self centered and in some cases down right dangerous in her medical advice, actually sounds like the requirements to join the American Medical Association.

Scientific evidence is needed to say, with any authority, that psychics are real. Until such evidence presents itself, I'll maintain that anyone who calls themselves psychic are delusion, insane, stupid and/or outright frauds.

I have to wonder, Tracian, why would you think that a person would lose such a superpower if they "abused" it? In your belief system, do superpowers only exist in "good" people?

I doubt it. I'd take the medical advice of a doctor over any 'alt med' people any day. It has something to do with scientific evidence.

Actually, I believe that everyone has the ability to have such a gift; some embrace it, as they accept it at a young age;however, as we grow older society teaches us that such things are 'superpowers' and not possible.

Very few that walk among us are all 'good' we are here to experience and learn, some of us have an older soul life, and therefore tend to be more tolerant, others have a younger soul life and tend to be more infantile in their moods or actions.

I do believe if someone refines their gifts and then obscenely profits off of it, since the spirit of the person is no longer pure, it tends to mess up the purity of the gift.

Well Banko, several times doctors have sent cancer patients home to die, then they go to someplace like the Cancer Institutes of America and get cured, and they use a combination of holistic and modern medical treatments.
