My grandfather was a Mason... my dad is a Mason... I don't really know ANYthing about it from them.
What I do know is... Joseph Smith (the founder of Mormonism) was a Mason, and a much of the secret ceremonies are mirrored after what the Masons do in their rites.
Matter of fact.. I seem to recall a male witch telling me that the masons use a lot of what is considered ceremonial magick in their rites. I think it has roots in ceremonial magick.
It would be interesting to hear from someone who has 'been there'. _________________ Where there's a witch, there's a way.

I read somewhere that Harpo Marx was a Freemason, and traded his Mason's pin for a bj..... don't know if that's true or not, but sure makes for an interesting story....
