(To the tune of Sinatra's 'It was a Very Good Year')

When I was twenty-three
it was a very good year,
It was a very good year for am-phe-ta-mines
and punk rock bands.
Studded collar 'round my neck,
Safety pin in my ear.
It was a verrrr-y good year.

[Surging violins]

When I was forty-three
Uh...was it a good year?
Can you tell me please cause I don't know,
Can't remember at all.
I'd get so freakin' high
That I couldn't even see
When I was forty-three.

[More schmaltzy violins]

And now those days are long gone,
I'm in the autumn of my years.
Clean and sober for two, and usually quite
in-tell-i-gent,
But right now I'm bent,
String theory blew my head
And so I'm going to bed.

Whitman wasn't such a great poet.

That's it! I'm gonna make sure you are BANNED!

I didn't like your comment about string theory, anyway.

I perfectly understand, q.

This happened to me about a year and a half ago. Stress just built up and I heard an audible "pop".

Next thing I knew I was wandering around the old sports board talking to myself - just like you did here.

Somebody told me later that it was a miracle that cw didn't ban me. I guess starting chat threads is a no no......... even if the chat thread is with yourself.
