Great photos, Filly! Love your tats!
My wedding to my current spouse was...different, but it can't compare to either of yours. You have to understand that my husband and I both had a drug problem at the time. We went to the city office in the South Bronx (after purchasing our drug of choice). It was a weekday and we didn't want any of our friends to lose a day's work for our tiny little wedding, but we needed a witness, so I asked my best friend Pedro, who's gay (and never even took aspirin, never mind an illegal drug), to come.
It was just the three of us, but the court officer (or whatever you call the person who officiates these days) still asked "If there's anyone here who knows why these two should not blah blah blah, speak now..." My spouse and I were so surprised that we looked over at Pedro, as he was the only "anyone here." Pedro got really flustered and yelled out, "No! No me! I don't know a thing!" in his thick Latino accent.
I must say that by that point the clerk was as flustered as the three of us.
Well, take my word for it: it was pretty funny. But I guess you had to be there... _________________ "I know not all that may be coming, but be it what it will, I'll go to it laughing." -- Melville |

| I thought of two more CTVers that should be invited over here and to the fruitstand -- maryhaze and rockdog. Could someone be so kind as to invite them? TIA. |

Oooh, I love rockdog! Great idea! I don't know maryhaze well, but I do know she runs an animal shelter so she's aces in my book!
I'll get over there today and invite them if no one else has done it.
Did you get a pm here from janicelee telling you about Tracian's other forum? Have you checked it out yet? _________________ "I know not all that may be coming, but be it what it will, I'll go to it laughing." -- Melville |

| Yes, I got the PM, and no, haven't checked it out recently, but I plan to. I used to participate on that board a long time ago. |

Hope you folks will check us out, at http://deathpenalty3.proboards103.com/index.cgi
We discuss alot more then the death penalty, and have a religious section that Tracian was kind enough to set up by taking some of the information from this board and copying over there. By all means everyone should post here it's a great board and I will be thrilled to death to see it back up and running again, but be sure and check out all the other topics we have at Death Penalty Debate.

Hi Janicelee,
Yes, I've registered for the death penalty forum, but haven't had a chance to get over there yet. I'm apartment-sitting for a pal with a terrible computer (well, not the computer itself, but a VERY sticky keyboard!) and I've been too busy at work to post.
Two work days next week and then I'm off until the 16th of July. This is a decompression-type vacation so I'm not going anywhere in particular (camping upstate with my bro and his family in August; that's the REAL vacation) so I hope to burn up the internet next week and I'll definitely be over there to check out the forum. Thanks again for the invitation!
Best,
