Wake up and look how well—or poorly—your Republicans follow the teachings of Christ.
Wake up and see that poverty, injustice, unnecessary war with huge loss of human life, and the care and nurture of the planet God gave us are the real moral issues.
Wake up and see how little your Republicans have accomplished with your hot-button issues—especially abortion.
Wake up and listen; the world around you knows the teachings of Jesus well enough, and they recognize many of your religious right leaders for the hypocrites they are.

I really encourage all of you to read this site, it proves not all those that identify with the Christian faith are fooled by the propaganda of the current regime

Oh cripes, are there really people out there who think all Christians support the Shrub?

Talk about being seriously deluded...

BTW, In 221 days, 10 hours, and 6 minutes, we shall be inaugurating President Obama...

I hope!

Yes, if Bush has accomplished anything, it's bringing together people who   have little else in common other than their complete disdain for him.

The most dangerous thing, IMO, about Bush, is that people think he's stupid.  He's not "stupid."  He's incurious and ignorant, and they are sins (in the secular sense) much worse than stupidity.  A person can be dumb and still have a great desire to learn.  Incuriosity is appalling in anyone, especially in the so-called "leader of the free world."  That this country could elect as president a man who, until elected, had never visited another country, barely read a book (and, I'm sure, still has not), and whose real goal in life was to become baseball commissioner...what more need be said?

I blame Bud Selig, that used-car salesman who is the current baseball commissioner, for Bush's presidency.  Back in the '90s he spoke of giving up the job, and Bush was primed and ready to make his move.  When Selig decided to keep the job, Bush took his ambition elsewhere.

If it weren't for Bud Selig, the Shrub would be screwing up Major League Baseball (even worse than it already is) instead of the entire country.

In my humble opinion, of course.

Oh goodness, I had forgotten about that one. I live in Cincinnati where while the baseball team may stink we still hold baseball to be sacred. I'm honestly not sure which is worse Bush screwing up the country or Bush screwing up baseball.

Oh, janicelee, you have my heartfelt sympathy.  When was the last time the Reds won anything?  I can remember the glory days of the "Big Red Machine."  I had a crush on Johnny Bench when I was about 12.

I love baseball, but I'd still rather see Bush as commissioner than president.  At least people wouldn't be dying.

He probably would've killed off a few teams, though.
