Congratulations, windovervocalcords, I am delighted that you and others in your situation can get married. That includes my niece, who lives in Kern County. You may have heard that the County Clerk in Kern COunty has announced flatly that she will not cooperate with the new interpretation of the law regarding marriage. She did not say that she disagreed with it on religious or any other grounds. She said she didn't have the time or space to cooperate. I'm not sure how my niece manged to marry her mate, but marry they did, and are almost euphoric about it.
